Professional dog training services designed for happy, healthy dogs. With over a decade of experience, LoFi Dog Training works with dogs of all breeds and sizes, using positive reinforcement techniques to teach new behaviors while promoting confidence, well-being, and a strong bond with their humans.
Our Approach
At LoFi Dog Training, our approach is built on clarity, compassion, and consistency. We focus on understanding each dog’s unique personality, guiding owners to communicate effectively, and creating training methods that build trust, confidence, and lasting results for every pack.
Conscious Dog Training
Since 2012, LoFi Dog Training has learned from some of Los Angeles’ most dedicated and conscious trainers—professionals who lead with awareness, compassion, and care. Leadership isn’t about control; it’s about clarity, calmness, and consistency. We believe true leadership starts with the owner. Dogs thrive when communication is patient and intentional, not driven by fear or frustration. By learning to lead ourselves first, we create an environment where dogs feel safe, understood, and confident. This foundation of trust is where real communication begins—where dogs listen and engage because they want to. At LoFi Dog Training, we help every pack reach its full potential through guidance, patience, and compassion.
Humane & Consistent
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to dog training—and there shouldn’t be. At LoFi Dog Training, we draw from a wide range of proven methods, from force-free, positive reinforcement to science-based marker training rooted in both operant and classical conditioning. Every dog is different, and every human is too—our goal is to discover the approach that works best for both of you. Our focus is simple: clear communication. By understanding your dog’s unique personality and needs, we create a system that is consistent, compassionate, and effective. Consistency turns understanding into lasting results, building trust and confidence for both you and your dog. No pressure—just thoughtful guidance, steady leadership, and a partnership grounded in trust, reward, and respect.
Reliable
Dogs aren’t machines—and training isn’t a reset button. Behavior challenges like reactivity, fear, or aggression, along with genetics shaped over generations, are real factors. They don’t disappear overnight—but with the right approach, they can be understood, managed, and improved in meaningful, lasting ways. At LoFi Dog Training, we guide every client to results they feel confident and happy with. But lasting change doesn’t end with a session—it requires consistency at home. Daily structure, walks, and continued reinforcement all play a role—and that’s a good thing. This isn’t magic. It’s training. And dogs don’t need perfection—they need a lifestyle where they can thrive. Our job as owners is to give them exactly that.

What our Clients are Saying

This has been a long over due review. Thanks to Allen my house has built up our confidence and knowledge about owning a cane corso breed. Bruce was a 4 month old pup when we started and it's been a great experience for the whole family. He definitely loves his job and it shows in his dedication. You won't regret hiring him.

Allen was great! Not only did my 6 month old Great Pyr get taught a good foundation but most importantly I became a better trainer for her. He knows how to speak dog and was a great teacher. Thanks again.

Allen and his staff were amazing with our puppy. He has learned a lot and is on his way to being the best puppy. They would send us many videos throughout the board and train and make us feel comfortable through out the process
